Twenty-one inmates were shot to death and three guards were wounded Monday when a group of prisoners attacked another gang inside a prison in the Mexican state of Sinaloa, authorities said. They said 18 of the dead were among the inmates attacked and three were with the attackers. Hours later, eight more prisoners were stabbed to death by other inmates, said state Public Safety Department spokeswoman Angeles Moreno.
